The recently completed Renault F1 Team CFD centre structure at Enstone in Oxfordshire represents a unique application of ABM Bridge System’s Matiere CM4 Arch.
The Renault F1 Team’s new Computational Fluid Dynamics ("CFD") Facility is an environmentally–friendly, computerised ‘virtual’ wind tunnel – a world–class subterranean computing facility that will be used to perfect the aerodynamics of the 2009 season cars.

Recognising the innovative, environmentally friendly and cost effective nature of the project, ABM Bridge Systems and the client’s consultant and architects (Ridge – Property and Construction Consultants) have submitted the Renault F1 Team CFD Centre building for consideration in the Concrete Society’s 2008 ‘Excellence in Concrete – UK New Structures Award’.
