As part of ABM Europe’s re–branding, ABM’s Civil Division, which up to now has been known as ABM Design & Build (Civils), has now been re–branded as ABM Bridge Systems. This division will service the huge and growing demand for Matiere Precast Bridge Structures in the Republic of Ireland and the UK.
In a recent internal communication General Manager, Philip Weinmann reiterated the following ‘The re-branding of the Civil Engineering Division to ABM Bridge Systems will consolidate and illuminate our place in the industry. It will be clear that whilst the name has changed somewhat, the people, the service, the engineering, the high quality product, the reassurance in dealing with us, and most of all, the personal touch, will remain the very same. It is for these virtues we are known, and for which we will remain to be known with ABM Bridge Systems.’
Division derivatives of the new ABM Europe logo and branding are being introduced to all divisions of the company’s correspondence and publications during April 2008.

The rail bridge RB01, which carries the rail line over a local farm road, is in close proximity of the main structure on this section, the bridge across the Maritca river. The bridge RB01 is replacing an old existing bridge at the end of its lifecycle which was confirmed by several borehole drills samples tested in a laboratory.
