Multiple Structures for John Sisk & Son on the N9/N10 Phase 4 Knocktopher to Powerstown

This Design & Build scheme consists of the construction of 40 km of high quality dual carriageway. It also includes the construction of 6.5 km of single carriageway link road to Kilkenny city and three grade separated junctions. ABM Bridge Systems are very pleased to be associated with John Sisk & Sons on this presently ongoing Phase 4 of the N9/N10 motorway project. For ABM Bridge Systems this project entails the design, supply and erection of multiple Matière Opti-Cadre Box and Portal Frame Structures as well as Matière CM4 Arches.

The Opti-Cadre Structures range from 6.5 to 8.5 metre spans, 6.0 metre rise and total lengths in excess of 90 metres. Each unit is supplied with precast wingwalls, copings and edge beams.

Structures 6 and 8 are configured as CM4 40/91 m2 Arches. These are provided with several pairs of CM4 matching profile wing walls on either end.
