Welcome to the November edition of the ABM Bridge Systems Newsletter.
In this latest edition the theme we deal with is the range of extraordinary applications for which the Matière systems has been used worldwide, and encouraging Architects, Engineers , Local Authorities and Civil Engineering Contractors to consider these solutions for projects coming to their drawing boards. The majority of these solutions can quite easily be adapted for use locally.

Intersection Stupava - South, Highway D2xD4
The new intersection Stupava was opened to public on the first of August 2011. It is the crossing of the old D2 with the new constructed D4.

Rail Bridge Structure RB01 Svilengrad, Bulgaria
The rail bridge RB01, which carries the rail line over a local farm road, is in close proximity of the main structure on this section, the bridge across the Maritca river. The bridge RB01 is replacing an old existing bridge at the end of its lifecycle which was confirmed by several borehole drills samples tested in a laboratory.

Refurbishment of a road bridge Vyskov
The road bridge carries over a 2nd class road over a double rail electrified track. The existing bridge structure was a three span bridge of precast pre-stressed beams of the length 30m sitting on in-situ columns.
