ABM receives a commendation for the Park Bridge Arch Structure in Northern Ireland.

ABM Bridge Systems have received a number of commendations for their momentous efforts in delivering and installing the CM4 arch units for the Park Bridge Project, in Derry, on Friday 10th October 2008.
The structure is a Matière CM4 25/64 precast concrete arch comprising of 2 rings 1.9metres long each, extending the existing bridge by 3.8 metres overall.
The installation was completed in very trying conditions, with the river in full flood on the entire day of installation. But a bit of water was not going to hold us up. We pulled on our waders and we got on with the job.
With the aid of a 120 Tonne crane from McNally Crane Hire, the structure was assembled in one day, starting at 5.30am and finishing at 10.00pm that same night. This endeavour reflects the ethos of the team within ABM Bridge Systems who are always fully committed to the project and to our client’s satisfaction and we will not rest until the project is satisfactorily completed.

Rail Bridge Structure RB01 Svilengrad, Bulgaria
The rail bridge RB01, which carries the rail line over a local farm road, is in close proximity of the main structure on this section, the bridge across the Maritca river. The bridge RB01 is replacing an old existing bridge at the end of its lifecycle which was confirmed by several borehole drills samples tested in a laboratory.

Refurbishment of a road bridge Vyskov
The road bridge carries over a 2nd class road over a double rail electrified track. The existing bridge structure was a three span bridge of precast pre-stressed beams of the length 30m sitting on in-situ columns.
