Project: River Lee crossing on N21/22
ABM Bridge Systems was commissioned to install a precast Opti– Cadre portal frame with an 8.5 metre span to support a dual carriageway crossing on the River Lee. Yet again, we offered an alternative design to the specimen design, which was based on the use of in–situ concrete. By opting to choose our design, the contractor avoided lengthy delays with in–situ construction.Key features included the use of precast head walls and wing walls.
