We are fully committed to establishing a quality culture throughout every aspect of our operations. We have had a Quality Policy in place since 1998. This Policy is implemented through a Quality Management System, adherence to which is mandatory for all ABM employees and sub-contractors.
Our system is accredited to Quality Management Standard EN ISO 9001: 2000.
Key elements of our Quality Plan include:
Clear identification of personnel responsible for project management; site management; safety; inspection/testing of works, and verification of such tests.
Meticulous execution of document control procedures including the maintenance of a comprehensive drawings register, the date stamping of documents, and the archiving of files and other records.
Consistent observance of agreed purchasing policies.
Safe and secure on–site segregation of materials that do no conform to specifications.
Strict enforcement of procedures for architects’ authorisation of any variations to contract.
Ready accessibility by architects to certification relating to calibration work carried out on all test and measuring equipment.
ABM are currently implementing both the ISO14001 for our Environmental Management System and the OHSAS for our Health & Safety Management System. We intend to obtain accreditation in early 2010.
