To achieve the required fast track programme the building structure was manufactured off site using an insulated light gauge steel frame system which eliminated more traditional methods of construction such as in-situ concrete and block work.Stairwell walls, stair flights, landings, plant room walls and lift shaft walls were also manufactured off site from pre-cast concrete. The roofing consists of insulated Kingspan Kingzip roof panels.
Wherever possible, off site fabrication of other internal components was achieved such as bathroom pods, pre-hung door/frame sets, internal wall partitions, kitchen cubicles and heating pipe work runs.
