ABM Design + Build t/a ABM Construction Ltd
Construction of a logistics warehouse extension to the existing C & C warehouse/office facility. This combines the construction of a new warehouse building and mezzanine offices totalling 6,855m2. There is also construction of separate buildings to be a recycling area 326m2 and a forklift area 153m2.
ABM Design & Build were appointed as contractor for this important project. Our work scope involved preparation of fire certificate application, successfully obtaining planning permission for an adjustment to the office layout, aswell as the construction of the overall project.
The critical element of the works was to meet a very tight programme of 5 months from commencement of construction to handover of the warehouse. This target was achieved.
ABM made successful use of our precast concrete dock leveller system to improve speed on site.
