With less than 1300 days until the opening ceremony of the 2012 London Olympics, construction activity on the East London site is racing ahead with ABM Precast Solutions playing a major part.
ABM Precast Solutions’ technical ability and flexible approach has enabled the company to secure and supply some of the most prestigious precast work in the country. To date, ABM have been involved with the supply of over 10,000 tonnes of precast concrete to sites in the Athletes’ Village and Retail development and supply to projects within the main Olympic Park will begin shortly.
The complex nature of the site, with the demands of various design & build civil engineering contractors, several rail operators and multiple local authorities has meant that design evolution has been complex, ABM’s ability to respond rapidly to ever changing needs has been key to its success so far.
