Project: SSN Viaduct, HMNS Faslane
The complex curved nature of the six span viaduct and the high loading requirements led to the development of a ‘hybrid’ prestressed/post tensioned beam design.
Delivery of the beams will be to a riverside facility from where the off-shore construction specialist, Briggs Marine, will take them by barge for placement in the structure in early Summer 2008.
